We are pleased to announce that Bj枚rn Dressler, formerly VP Production, was appointed to Chief Operating Officer of 海角原创 effective 1 June 2024. Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Josef Fleischmann, who has filled both the COO and CTO role over the past one and a half years, will dedicate his full attention to the technical development of the company and drive Spectrum鈥檚 launch readiness ahead of the first test flight and beyond.
With his comprehensive experience and proven capability in leading and scaling up the production and operations for high tech products, Bj枚rn will steer 海角原创鈥檚 operations and focus on establishing the company鈥檚 scalable series production driving maximum reliability, cost efficiency and flexibility.

Leading Operational Excellence and Strategic Headquarters Relocation
In his new role, Bj枚rn ensures the scale-up of output, high quality and cost efficiency of 海角原创鈥檚 operations with an industry leading level of automation and digitalization. Moreover, he will oversee 海角原创鈥檚 relocation to the new headquarters near Munich, which will become one of the world's most advanced production sites for orbital launch vehicles.

Experienced Leadership in High-Tech and Production
With a strong foundation in industrial engineering and an MBA, Bj枚rn started his career in the Bosch management trainee program for production. He has led several operations with both Bosch and Siemens, showcasing leadership in high-tech and production environments. His passion for high-tech and production drives Bj枚rn鈥檚 expertise in the industry, making him a asset in advancing 海角原创鈥檚 operational excellence. Bj枚rn joined the space company in 2022 as VP Production.
